Indigo Blue label are wines that are usually from our vineyard but some may include grapes sourced from other trusted growers. These wines are our core wines available in restaurants and better wine stores. The gold foil in our new labels represents the history of the Beechworth region as a centre of gold discovery in Australia. The creeks that run through our property have markings of gold mining from the 1800's.

A perfect white for a Summer's day
Indigo Pinot Grigio is a delicious dry white. It is mainly unoaked but we blend in a small amount of barrel fermented Roussanne to add complexity to the wine. Pinot Gris/ Pinot Grigio, both are made from the same grape with the name on the wine usually indicating its sweetness. Labelled as Pinot Gris indicates a sweeter wine while Pinot Grigio a drier style.
The lightly oaked style means the oak sits in the background and adds a char/smoky element. Lovely bright yellow/green colour. The aromas are in the citrus/tropical spectrum. A young wine, so plenty of primary fruit. The palate has good weight, alcohol and glycerol, and a long finish. Although subtle oak, it’s there and will integrate with the pineapple/mango fruit with further age.

A broader, more old fashioned style of Chardonnay. The winemaking is otherwise the same as for our Indigo Chardonnay.
Sweet Secret is a serious wine designed to appeal to those who do not prefer a dry white. While the wine is made from the Viognier grapes it does not show the usual forward apricot characters and has a rich luscious mouth feel.
This wine was made with Pinot Noir grapes grown at the Indigo Vineyard. The fruit was specifcally picked for Rose with the skins being discarded after pressing. The result is a delicious crisp, dry style Rose.
Striking deep purple in colour. Aromas include sweetly spiced blood plum and summer berries, with hints of chocolate and earthy complexity.
The palate is brightly structured with rich, ripe flavours of plum and blackberry. The wine finishes with soft tannins and fresh, lush acidity.
Our aim was to produce an easy drinking, softer style cabernet and this wine hits the target. Its dense colour belies the medium weight which is apparent on the palate. It maintains strong but not overpowering fruit flavours and soft tannins.
The first thing that hits the nose is a lovely cherry aroma. The wine is bright with a soft scarlet colour. The lightly oaked style means there is a background complexity of very fine soft tannins providing structure and texture.
The wine has a typical Beechworth medium bodied style. The colour is a lovely dark crimson. On the nose there is the dark brooding fruit and a powerful middle palate.
